Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintenance of building, fabrication equipment, machining equipment and transportation equipment.
  • Install, move and remove equipment and utilities within the facility.
  • Diagnose machine/equipment malfunctions and operating difficulties to determine needed repairs
  • Work with suppliers to effect repairs which are beyond in-house capabilities
  • Rebuild machines and overhaul components
  • Conduct machine/equipment preventative maintenance activities
  • Complete various requested work orders as assigned
  • Maintain spare parts inventory
  • Maintain safety and maintenance records, both hand written and computerized
  • Work in a safe manner utilizing LOTO and Safe Electrical Work Practices
  • Willingness to conform to and enforce all company policies
  • Comply with ALL hazardous waste management responsibilities
  • Support ALL international standard certifications obtained by the company, including meeting customer requirements, delivering intended process outputs, identifying and communicating opportunities for improvement and following all document control program requirements.
  • On call 24 / 7 for machinery or facility emergencies

Qualifications, Trainings, & Experience:

  • BS or associates degree with technical training in plant engineering, or factory/plant maintenance or equivalent


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong mechanical aptitudes with competencies in industrial wiring, troubleshooting electrical schematics, pneumatics and hydraulics
  • Electrical power circuit repair and installation of conduit and wiring
  • Excellent trouble shooting and diagnostic skills
  • Familiar with compressed air systems
  • Experience with basic plumbing
  • Ability to define problems, and resolve them quickly
  • Familiar with local building codes and OSHA regulations
  • Familiar with all current health and safety regulations
  • Requires strong supervisory skills, coupled with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with ever changing priorities and or situations
  • Working knowledge of Lasers, CNC Machines and Saws a plus
  • Must be a self-starter who can work well with people at all levels both in and out of the plant


Physical/Mental Demands:

  • Medium physical work equal to exerting 20 to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Regularly required to stand, bend and reach.


Environmental Working Conditions:

  • Work performed in a shop environment
  • Exposed to any number of elements, but with none present to the extent of being disagreeable
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.

Henry has been with LaserCraft for 12 years. Henry joined the team as the Quality Manager and has since been Plant Manager and Operations Manager before taking his current position as VP of Manufacturing. Henry was instrumental in the creation and implementation of LaserCraft’s Quality System and managed the successful implementation of the company’s first ISO certification process. He has over 30 years of experience in the manufacturing industry in multiple capacities. Henry is currently responsible for the manufacturing and customer service departments at LaserCraft.

Angel Ledford

Angel has been with LaserCraft for 15 years. She joined the team as the Human Resources Manager and has since grown the department to include safety and environmental, as well as being instrumental in the creation of the LaserCraft training department, which has become an integral part of the company’s on boarding and continuing education activities. Angel has over 20 years of experience in the manufacturing, and food processing industries. In her current role as VP of Human Resources and Safety she manages the HR, safety, and training departments.

Jeff began his current role of Vice President of Manufacturing at LaserCraft in 2023.  Jeff has over 30 years of experience in the manufacturing industry and believes that root cause analysis and corrective action are key to quality systems management. In his current role, Jeff oversees all quality department activities as well as the engineering department.

Brian Bryant

Brian has been with LaserCraft for 20 years. He began his career with the company as a welder. Throughout the years Brian has managed several manufacturing departments including weld and press brake and was the second shift manager for 5 years. Brian has over 30 years of experience in fabrication and manufacturing.  In his current role as Plant Manager, Brian oversees the day-to-day manufacturing plant operations.
